My career began in power-system research and utility analysis, moved into safety-critical embedded software and AUTOSAR platforms, and progressed to software architecture and integration leadership at General Motors. Through EnersynQ, I now extend that experience into power systems and infrastructure readiness.
Experience
General Motors
-
2022–2024
Software Integration Manager
Established and chaired a cross-functional execution forum connecting more than 100 stakeholders and enabled a 12-week development pull-ahead by combining surrogate hardware with staged virtual, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop validation.
-
2021–2022
Software Architecture Engineer
Developed and coordinated AUTOSAR-based software architecture and platform enablers for electrified and software-defined vehicle programs.
-
2019–2021
Product Owner, Basic Software
Led product planning, prioritization, integration readiness, and cross-functional delivery for foundational vehicle software, contributing to a 15% reduction in defects.
Nexteer Automotive
-
2016–2019
Software Integration Lead
Led AUTOSAR-based software integration and production releases for electric power-steering programs across multiple global vehicle platforms.
-
2014–2016
Embedded Software Engineer
Developed and integrated embedded software for safety-critical electric power-steering systems within ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE-governed programs.
Earlier technical foundation
-
2012–2014
Rithtech Systems · Embedded Systems Engineer
Developed embedded-system validation and CAN-based test automation using CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL, dSPACE, MATLAB, and Simulink.
-
2011–2012
Auriga Corporation · Power Systems Engineer
Supported power-system planning, modeling, and analysis for utility clients in the United States and international markets.
-
2009–2011
University of New Orleans · Graduate Research Assistant, Electrical Engineering
Completed an M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a power-systems focus. Graduate research examined smart-grid technologies, optimal power flow, economic dispatch, and the coordination of industrial electric loads.
Current work
Founder & Principal, EnersynQ
EnersynQ develops analytical methods, models, and applied case studies on power-constrained infrastructure and flexible loads. The work examines where large electric demand emerges, which physical asset becomes the first binding constraint, and what technical or operational changes can improve delivery readiness.
Current projects include EV-fleet charging against distribution-transformer thermal limits and power-readiness methods for large-load development.
